You want to book the trip and feel no regret. Buy the $300 dress and cut the tags off that night, knowing it’s never going back. Look back over your month and know your money was spent on the things and experiences you deeply value.
But instead... You book the trip, then feel guilty for weeks. The tags stay on while you decide whether wanting it was a good enough reason. And at the end of the month, you have no idea where all the money went or if it was worth it.
The Joyful Spending Challenge shows you what’s driving those moments and how to change them, so you can spend on what you love and feel good about it afterward.
Hear this: if you're looking for a budgeting system, a spending freeze, or someone to tell you to cut the lattes, this is not for you.
But if you make good money and still can't say where it goes... if you've quit more budgets than you can count... if spending comes wrapped in guilt even when you can afford it... if your money life runs on autopilot and you're not sure you're actually choosing any of it? Welcome home. Keep scrolling.
Joyful Spending is five sessions that transform your relationship with spending, without a single budget, tracker, or restriction anywhere in sight. Because the problem was never your discipline. It was the tools.
You might earn well, run a business, manage a household, and make thoughtful decisions all day long. Then, when it comes to your own spending, things can feel different.
You buy something because you've had a long day and want a little lift. You add a few things to your online cart because you deserve something nice. You make a purchase you can afford, then feel uneasy when you check your bank account later.
Or you keep telling yourself you'll be more intentional with money next month, only to find yourself repeating the same patterns.
And when you already know the basics of managing money, it's frustrating to wonder why knowing better doesn't always translate into doing things differently.
You don't need to turn every purchase into a debate with yourself. You need to understand what's happening when you spend, so you can make choices that feel good in the moment and still support the life you're building.
A budget can tell you how much you planned to spend. It may not explain why you keep reaching for a purchase when you're stressed, bored, celebrating, or looking for a break.
Joyful Spending gives you a way to look at those patterns and make different choices.
1. Notice the pattern
Start paying attention to what happens before, during, and after you spend. Notice the situations, feelings, and habits that influence your decisions. This helps you recognize your patterns instead of wondering where your money went after the fact.
2. Understand what you're looking for
Sometimes a purchase is about the item. Sometimes it's about comfort, excitement, relief, or the feeling of having something to look forward to. Explore what your spending may be doing for you, then consider other ways to meet that need when they make more sense for you.
3. Choose where your money goes
Get clearer about what you genuinely value, what you want your money to make possible, and which purchases deserve a place in that picture. Build a simple practice to help you pause, make decisions with intention, and return to what matters when old habits show up.
The aim is to make spending decisions you can feel good about, while still enjoying your money and your life.
Each session builds on the one before it, helping you understand your patterns
and put what you learn into practice.

here's what's inside:
Session 1: Reframing
Every dollar is a seed. Learn the spend-versus-invest reframe that changes how you see every transaction, and start judging purchases by what matters to you instead of what you think you should do.
Your outcome: making spending decisions with a clearer sense of what is right for you.
Session 2: Recalibrating
Uncover the emotional needs behind your patterns, both mindless spending and fearful under-spending. Then learn other ways to meet them, like the twenty-minute walk that meets the same need as the add-to-cart.
Your outcome: understanding your recurring spending patterns and what is driving them.
Session 3: Reflecting
Turn off autopilot at the three moments that matter: before, during, and after a purchase. No tracking required.
Your outcome: a repeatable way to pause before spending on autopilot.
Session 4: Realigning
Audit your recent spending against your values and find the dollars going to things you don’t care about. You might finish this session with money you didn’t know you had.
Your outcome: a clear picture of where your money is going and where you want it to go.
Session 5: Repatterning
Bring your learning together and establish a simple money ritual to keep practising what you've learned.
Your outcome: ten minutes a week that keep your spending connected to your priorities.
When you join the Joyful Spending Challenge, you receive:
Five video sessions to guide you through the process, each approximately one hour long.
The Joyful Spending workbook to help you work through the exercises and apply what you're learning.
A 30-day journal to help you notice patterns and reflect on your choices as you practise.
An activation meditation to support your personal practice.
The Meeting the Need Swap List to help you explore other ways to meet the needs that can sit underneath a spending urge.
Affirmation cards to reinforce the beliefs and choices you want to cultivate.
Work through the challenge over five days or spread it across five weeks. You can take the time you need to reflect and practise between sessions.
You'll have instant access and lifetime access, so you can return to the materials when you want a refresher.

I have an accounting degree, an MBA, and years of experience working as a CFO. I've spent much of my career understanding how money works.
And I still had spending habits that required more than financial knowledge or a better budget spreadsheet to change.
For years, I would spend around $300 at Target on a Saturday. I'd go in for a few things and come out with a cart full of purchases that weren't necessarily connected to what I wanted most from my money.
I didn't need another lesson in arithmetic. I needed to understand what was happening in those moments and get clearer about what I wanted my money to do for me.
That experience helped shape the way I think about spending. Our choices can be influenced by habits, emotions, expectations, and what we're looking for in a particular moment.
When we understand those patterns, we have more information to work with. We can make decisions that reflect our priorities, rather than relying on rules or willpower alone.
That's why I created the Joyful Spending Challenge. I wanted others to have a practical way to explore their spending without feeling judged or being told to cut out everything they enjoy.
Because your money should support the life you want to live.
You make good money and genuinely can't say where it goes
You've quit more budgets than you can count, and you're tired of the restart cycle
Spending comes pre-wrapped in guilt, even on things you love and can afford
Your money runs on autopilot: renewals fire, packages arrive, and nobody's flying
You grip every dollar and can't let yourself spend, even on what you truly value
You suspect your spending is about something deeper than the things you're buying
You want change that doesn't require tracking, restriction, or one more daily obligation
You'd rather spend joyfully on purpose than perfectly by force
This is NOT for you if you want a stricter system, a spending freeze, or a lecture.
There's no restriction here, only realignment.

The opposite. There is no budget, no tracking app, and no spreadsheet anywhere in this program. You'll replace all of that with awareness, values alignment, and one 10-minute weekly ritual.
Five sessions of about an hour each, plus small daily practices that take minutes. Do it as a 5-day challenge or spread it over five weeks. It's your pace, and both work.
Yes, deeply. The fear of spending and the guilt of spending grow from the same root, and this program works both ends of the spectrum. Several exercises have a version written specifically for the careful spender learning that releasing money toward her values is safe.
Never. Joy is not a leak. This program helps you separate the spending you love, which you'll keep unapologetically, from the spending that happens without you. It's built so you finish able to spend MORE on what you truly value.
There's no behind. The sessions are yours for life, and the program's own rule applies: a skipped day is a skipped day, not a failed relationship. There's no restart, only the next session.
No. Every exercise is private, done by you, in your own workbook. Nobody sees your numbers, including me.
